FINALLY ABLE TO SHARE SOME OF MY RECENT WORK!

March 25th was an exciting day for me, because it meant that I was to record the Danbury Symphony Orchestra in a live performance at the Newtown Edmond Town Hall Theater, a grand old movie theater, equipped with a stage, built in 1930.

I'm showing some brief excerpts from the concert in these following Windows Media clips. Audio was taken from the 2-channel track for the DVD. (The DVD that i produced has a Surround track and a stereo track.) All music was composed by Leroy Anderson, and the orchestra is being directed by his son, Kurt.

MY AVSFORUM DISPUTE

Unbelievable as it may seem, there has been a great outlashing against me on the AVSForum web site because of my comparison page showing video footage from various video cameras. I knew that there were rabid fringe fanatics in the camera arena, just as there are platform fanatics in the computer arena, but this is ridiculous. Follow the links to the dispute, and note how the moderator of the forum has deleted the thread to cover up the facts because they make both him and the gentleman who started the haranges against my tests look like liars. Normally I don't include silly stuff like this on my blog, but this is so over the top that I just have to let my readers in on it.

UPDATE: I have been having trouble loading that comparison page, oddly enough, so that got me to wondering what might be causing the problem. A look at my router logs indicate that this server is undergoing a Denial of Service Attack as of 2:44PM EST. I am noting the originating IP address and notifying the appropriate authorities now. I'm seeing about 30 NAT sessions per minute, thousands of times busier than normal. This activity comes on the heels of my getting banned from AVSForum and my thread deleted. Looks like a mighty suspicious coincidence to me...
